Vision:
To enhance the mental health and wellbeing of people in the community by developing collaborative pathways, partnerships and protocols between key agencies in the Hume region.
The No Wrong Door Committee will:
- Provide information and advice to the Project Manager and Auspice Agency
- Provide advice and recommendations to the planning, development and implementation of the key deliverables of the Project Plan
- Monitor and review implementation of the Project Plan activities and outcomes.

Monitor and review project implementation to ensure that it meets its
funding and reporting requirements with the Department of Health and
Ageing.
- Each committee member will be responsible to communicate
project progress to all the agencies that relate to their agency types
and to the PCP quadrant they attend.
- The appointment of committee chair will be for a 12 month period.

If any agency misses 3 consecutive meetings, it will be assumed that
they are unable to participate in the future and an alternate agency
will be recruited to fulfil their position.
- Committee member
appointment is for an initial 12 month tenure, upon which 6 members
will voluntarily step down and replaced with similar agency types. The
remaining members will stay on to ensure continuity of project
knowledge and input. Their positions will be rotated the following
year.
Purpose
The purpose of the No Wrong Door Phase 2 Steering Committee is to:
√ Oversee the development and delivery of the Improved Services Measure Project Plan (No Wrong Door Phase 2)
√ Develop a culture of collaboration
√ Review multi-agency protocol development with client and carer involvement
√ Develop the capacity of Hume Region agencies to provide effective
response +/or treatment to all cohorts of persons with dual diagnosis
√ Support consistent and collaborative service co-ordination
√ Further evolution, expansion and implementation of a “No wrong door” service system
√ Respect and value each others practice
√ Enhance integrated and collaborative treatment

Consensus vote, with the Auspice Agency having the final say should their be a impasse.

Frequency of meetings:
- Monthly meetings - 3rd Wednesday of the calendar Month until Aug 2008, and then bimonthly thereafter
- 10.30am – 12.30pm Benalla location.
- Quorum ½ + 1
- Biannually, the committee meeting will be followed by a Hume region forum will include all agencies that are involved in the project delivery.
